Quote and Application Process

To provide an accurate, fully underwritten quote for our Lifetime Care Plan, we partner with Inuvi to collect the required medical and care data on our behalf.

The Care Fees Plan Questionnaire is a standardised format used across care plan providers. It only needs to be completed once, allowing you to receive quotes from all providers.

Step 1: Care Fees Plan Questionnaire

Complete the Care Fees Plan Questionnaire with your client and email it directly to icp@inuvi.co.uk.

Step 2: Medical information needed

An experienced nurse employed by Inuvi will conduct a structured tele-interview to obtain the necessary medical and dependency details directly from the care provider. An interview transcript will be completed, quality-checked, and securely sent to our underwriting team.

If it is not possible to arrange a tele-interview with the care home or provider, a comprehensive Care Manager's Report will be emailed to the care provider for completion instead.

Step 3: Quote pack issued

Once our underwriters have reviewed the completed information from Inuvi, we will send you a formal Quote Pack via email. This contains your fully underwritten quote, the acceptance form, the Key Facts Document, Terms and Conditions, a blank Care Provider Declaration, and the Confirmation of Verification of Identity Form.

Our underwritten quotes are valid for 45 days, giving you ample time to discuss the options with your client. In certain circumstances to accommodate complex application timelines we may be able to offer a quote extension.

Already have a request in the pipeline with Inuvi?

If you already have an active request in the pipeline with Inuvi and would like British Friendly to provide a comparative quote, you do not need to fill out the paperwork again. Simply complete our standalone Inuvi Consent Form with your client and email it to icp@inuvi.co.uk. 


Applicants with a Legally Appointed Representative

Where the applicant is a legally appointed representative (such as an attorney or deputy), please ensure you provide a certified copy of the legal document (such as the Lasting Power of Attorney or Court of Protection Order) along with the submission paperwork.

If you are an adviser looking to submit your first Lifetime Care Plan with us, registering is quick and straightforward. We can proceed with preparing your quote; however, before we’re able to put a plan in place, we’ll need to receive a completed intermediary application form.
